Agriculture Budget 2027 Targets Youth Employment And Agricultural Development

The Agriculture sector has been allocated $987 million in the 2027 National Budget.

In his presentation, Finance Minister Davendranath Tancoo said the Government will continue to work to reduce this country’s food import bill and create sustainable employment.

The Minister said emphasis will be placed on investing in young people to build successful futures in agriculture.
