KINGSTON, Jamaica—Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited (SLJ) has introduced JTA Protect Plus, a new group insurance plan for eligible members and administrative staff of the Jamaica Teachers’ Association (JTA) and their dependents.

The plan, formally introduced following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Sagicor Life Jamaica and the JTA on Friday, August 14, provides voluntary access to critical illness, supplemental life and supplemental health insurance coverage.

Designed to complement the protection already available to educators through Sagicor Life, JTA Protect Plus provides another avenue for teachers and their families to strengthen their financial preparedness against serious illness and other unexpected life events.
