A Central Trinidad businessman was shot and killed in a drive-by attack in Freeport on Friday night.

Suresh Moonsammy, 40, also known as "Zorro," was the co-owner of Big Wave Auto Limited in Bamboo Settlement No. 2.

According to police, around 9:30 p.m., Moonsammy was driving his Isuzu pickup along Mission Road when another vehicle pulled alongside and its occupants opened fire. Moonsammy's vehicle crashed into a fence following the attack.
