Police to make another attempt to exhume Phillipai murder victim for post-mortem

(Kaieteur News) – Arrangements are being made for police to return to Phillipai Village, Region Seven, to exhume the remains of 25-year-old Marinda Ernest for a post-mortem examination, after their first attempt was reportedly blocked by relatives.
Speaking with Kaieteur News on Tuesday evening, Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum said this will be investigators’ second and, “hopefully,” final attempt to exhume Ernest’s remains for the examination.
Ernest’s nude body was found with wounds along a trail in the remote community last month.
