In 1999, Glen Washington had a surprise hit album with Brother To Brother, produced by the legendary Clement âCoxsonâ Dodd for the Studio One label. It was the singerâs breakthrough after nearly 20 years in the business.
Brother To Brother opened doors for Washington. He collaborated with Capleton and Third World on their Still Blazing and Ainât Giving Up albums, released in 2003 and 2004, respectively.
Both were nominated for Best Reggae Album at the Grammy Awards. Washington appears on Jah Is Gonna Work it Out on Still Blazing, and on the title song on the Third World set.
