Plans to implement a cashless fare system across Barbados’ public transport network are moving forward.
President of the Association of Public Transport Owners, Anwar Nana, says that while the cashless payment system was announced some time ago, it is expected to become a reality within a matter of months.
Mr Nana told CBC News that work is progressing towards implementation.
