Attorney General Camille Robinson-Regis says she is a non-practising member of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago.
And this does not affect her appointment as Attorney General under the Constitution.
She made the statement in response to questions about her not having a legal practising certificate from the Law Association because she has not paid the fees for years. In a statement to the Express yesterday, Robinson-Regis said she was admitted to the Bar of Trinidad and Tobago as a practitioner member of the Law Association and her name was added to the roll of attorneys-at-law in accordance with the Legal Profession Act.
