As children across Trinidad and Tobago prepare to return to the classroom in September, RBC Royal Bank believes no child should be left behind and is taking action to make this a reality.
RBC has donated TT$15,000 to the Saidwan Foundation, an investment that will be channeled directlyto families in the form of vouchers for schoolbooks and uniforms. The contribution was presented to Mr.Ahmed Saidwan, Chairman of the Saidwan Foundation, by Sheryl Boodram, Branch Manager HighStreet, a gesture that reflected the Bank’s ongoing commitment to education and community wellbeing.Marc Jardine, Managing Director, RBC Royal Bank Trinidad and Tobago, underscored the contributionas an expression of the Bank’s deeper commitment to the communities it serves.
“At RBC, our purpose is to help clients thrive and communities prosper, and that purpose has to meansomething beyond the branch,” said Jardine. “Showing up for families at a moment like this, in a waythat’s practical and immediate, is exactly what being a good neighbour looks like”.
