The daughter of indentured labourers, who survived her husband and six of her seven children, super-centenarian Dharmie Deo passed away on Sunday at the age of 111.
Fondly called Moyo (mother), Deo died at her Penal home at around 4 p.m., surrounded by loved ones.
Her daughter-in-law, Nazreen, told the Express yesterday that Moyo was diagnosed with a terminal illness last year.
