This from former finance minister under the People’s National Movement Colm Imbert yesterday, when asked by the media to respond to Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar’s statement on Friday that the national budget for 2025-2026 will be another deficit fiscal package.

Imbert spoke at a news conference after the PNM’s General Council meeting at Pleasantville Indoor Sports Complex in Pleasantville, San Fernando.
