Enough oil money available to pay citizens another cash grant before yearend - APNU

(Kaieteur News) – As Guyana continues to produce oil from four Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessels (FPSOs) with a fifth likely to come online before the end of this year amid soaring oil prices, enough resources are available to pay citizens an additional cash grant.

This was the argument of the lead Parliamentary Member of the A Partnership for National Unity (APNU), Dr. Terrence Campbell during a recent media conference.

Campbell was commenting on the recent suggestion by chartered accountant and attorney, Christopher Ram who recently said Guyanese must be paid an additional $170,000 cash grant from the current oil bonanza the country is experiencing.
