(Kaieteur News) For months now Cuba has been under U.S. pressure. It is being starved of the resources it needs for energy in the face of the collapse of its electricity grid. And only a handful of individual and groups in Guyana have been brave enough to come forward and to condemn the imperialist actions.
This is sad considering all that Cuba has done for Guyana. Given its own limited means, Cuba has done more for Guyana than any other country. Yet, when Guyana recently turned its back on Cuba, only a small number of individuals and groups raised their voices in indignation at the actions of the Guyana government in succumbing to U.S. pressures.
