PRIME Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, accompanied by Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander, handed over 12 refurbished vehicles to the police service on December 12 at the Diplomatic Centre, St Ann's, Port of Spain.
A release from the Office of the Prime Minister on the same day said the handover, made to strengthen the service’s operational capacity, was part of the government's commitment to deliver a total of 50 refurbished vehicles to the police service by the end of the year, with 14 vehicles delivered last week.
