The body of a woman was found around 6:30 am to­day in a pond in San­gre Grande. It had been chopped up, placed in a black suit­case, and dumped.

The dis­cov­ery was made by the Hunters Search and Res­cue Team, dur­ing day five of their on­go­ing search for 22-year-old Can­dace Hon­ore of Va­len­cia.

Can­dace was last seen leav­ing her work­place around 3:08 pm on Tues­day, Ju­ly 8th. Calls to her phone went straight to voice­mail, and a miss­ing per­son re­port was filed at the Man­zanil­la Po­lice Sta­tion.
