Body found in suitcase believed to be missing Valencia woman

The body of a woman was found around 6:30 am today in a pond in Sangre Grande. It had been chopped up, placed in a black suitcase, and dumped.

The discovery was made by the Hunters Search and Rescue Team, during day five of their ongoing search for 22-year-old Candace Honore of Valencia.

Candace was last seen leaving her workplace around 3:08 pm on Tuesday, July 8th. Calls to her phone went straight to voicemail, and a missing person report was filed at the Manzanilla Police Station.
