Barbados is looking to deepen its economic relationship with Suriname, with construction materials among the areas identified for potential cooperation.
Discussions between the two sides are focused on turning existing bilateral agreements into tangible business opportunities.
Special Envoy in the Prime Minister’s Office, Althea Wiggins, says Suriname could help to meet some of Barbados’ demand for materials needed for infrastructure development.
