Minister of Defense Wayne Sturge, and Minister of Homeland Security Roger Alexander, arrived for their first day of work at Temple Court, Abercromby Street, today.
Both Alexander and Sturge met with ministry officials including permanent secretaries and were expected to be briefed on the state of Trinidad and Tobago's security agencies.
Both ministries will play a critical role in security matters both domestic and transnational, as Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has set a goal of having “a safer T&T” within six months.
