PANCAP Calls for Broader Caribbean Response to Suicide Prevention

The Pan Caribbean Partnership against HIV and AIDS is calling for stronger action across the region to prevent suicide, following World Suicide Prevention Day on Thursday, September 10.

This year’s observance was held under the theme “Changing the Narrative on Suicide.”

PANCAP said suicide prevention must extend beyond hospitals and mental-health services and involve families, schools, workplaces, faith-based organisations and communities.
