Sun rises on new Barbados-Antigua route as carrier makes maiden flight

Sunrise Airways officially launched its new direct service between Antigua and Barbuda and Barbados on Wednesday, with tourism and aviation officials hailing the route as another step towards improving regional travel and strengthening economic ties across the Caribbean.

The inaugural flight landed at the Grantley Adams International Airport just after 12 p.m.
