Former Couva South Member of Parliament and trade unionist Rudranath Indarsingh has been appointed as a judge of the Industrial Court of Trinidad and Tobago.
Indarsingh this afternoon confirmed to the Express that he received his instrument of appointment to the post today.
Speaking briefly with the Express, Indarsingh said that he viewed the new role as an extension of his service to the people of the country, having served as an MP for 15 years and in the trade union movement for 19.
