THE bad weather alert has been discontinued, but the 2025 rainy season is now here.
The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) yesterday declared the official start of this year’s wet season, even as it issued an Adverse Weather Alert Discontinuation—Green Level—after two days of heavy rainstorms.
People and especially those in flood-prone areas have also been advised to note the onset of the wet season, bringing with it the 2025 hurricane season later in the year.
