KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Office of Utilities Regulation (OUR) is calling for better planning in the water sector amid ongoing drought conditions
During a recent public education webinar, the OUR called for stronger coordination, long-term planning and accountable investment across Jamaica’s water sector to improve service delivery and strengthen resilience in the face of increasing climate and operational challenges.
It comes as Jamaicans face water lockoffs and increasing food prices.
