One of St Elizabeth most wanted cut down by cops

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica—Anward Hinds, otherwise called ‘Kirkie,’ one of Jamaica’s most wanted men was reportedly fatally shot and killed in a confrontation with the police in Westgate Hills, St James on Tuesday evening.
Hinds, of Claremount, New Market in St Elizabeth, Maroon Town and George Reid in Manchester, was being sought by the police in connection to a quadruple murder in Ginger Hill, St Elizabeth in May 2015, which resulted in the deaths of four men—three elderly and one middle-aged.
He was among eight inmates who escaped the Black River Police Station during a routine cell check on June 19, 2023.
