Southern Division police are investigating the deaths of two men over the weekend, including a decomposing body discovered at a house in Ste Madeleine.
Officers from the Ste Madeleine Police Station responded to a report of a foul stench at a house on Jaipaul Street at 5.52 am on Saturday. Upon arrival, WPC Brown-Garcia and PC Farrow spoke with a neighbour, who said he last saw 65-year-old Timothy Harrycharan on November 2.
The neighbour told police that Harrycharan lived alone. The neighbour said that last Sunday evening, the lights were off, the front door was open, and calls went unanswered to Harrycharan’s house. Officers entered the home and found Harrycharan dead, lying on his back. His body appeared to already be in a state of decomposition. Further inquiries revealed that Harrycharan was reportedly not suffering from any known illnesses.
