The evaluation team appointed by the Cabinet to evaluate the bids for the Petrotrin refinery is near completion of its work and is about to make a recommendation to the Government.
So said Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley yesterday when asked to comment on statements made by Pointe-a-Pierre MP David Lee who said the Government had selected Nigerian energy multinational company Oando Plc and that the Cabinet was divided over this decision.
The three companies whose proposals were evaluated were CRO Consortium, a locally based consortium; INCA Energy LLC, which is based in USA, and Oando PLC, which is based in Nigeria.
