The Amer­i­can Cham­ber of Com­merce of Trinidad and To­ba­go (AM­CHAM T&T) has ex­tend­ed con­grat­u­la­tions to Prime Min­is­ter-elect Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar on her ap­point­ment, while sig­nalling a strong in­ten­tion to part­ner with her ad­min­is­tra­tion on na­tion­al de­vel­op­ment.

“This is a piv­otal mo­ment for Trinidad and To­ba­go,” the cham­ber said in a state­ment is­sued on Tues­day . “We reaf­firm our com­mit­ment to work­ing close­ly with the new ad­min­is­tra­tion.”

AM­CHAM T&T, which rep­re­sents busi­ness­es across mul­ti­ple sec­tors, said it looked for­ward to re­newed col­lab­o­ra­tion on poli­cies that strength­en the rule of law and make Trinidad and To­ba­go a more at­trac­tive des­ti­na­tion for in­vest­ment.
