An estate constable who was fired from the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) in 2017 for allegedly tampering with an emblem on one of its vehicles has been awarded over $1.1 million by the High Court, for the dismissal.
Master Wrenerson Lochan gave an assessment of damages yesterday in the matter involving Farad Mohammed.
Mohammed and the Estate Police Association of Trinidad and Tobago previously challenged the dismissal decision before the Special Tribunal of the Industrial Court.
