Sargassum seaweed continues to wash ashore along the beaches and coastal areas of Barbados, with some residents calling for greater action to address the issue.
At the popular Miami Beach on Sunday, some beachgoers expressed concerns about the amount of sargassum along the shoreline, as well as the strong odour it produces as it accumulates on the beaches.
For some, the seaweed is affecting the overall beach experience, and they are calling for a more effective way to manage the recurring problem.
