Just one month after the Miss World Trinidad and Tobago franchise launched its nationwide search for an exceptional young woman to carry the nation’s flag internationally, 20 delegates have emerged as finalists, each eager to embrace the platform, champion meaningful causes, and showcase the best of Trinidad and Tobago at the next Miss World pageant.
National Director of Miss World Trinidad and Tobago, Charu Lochan Dass, believes this year’s group of contestants may be the strongest the competition has seen to date.
“In two weeks, they’ve already transformed, so we’re looking forward to seeing what the three-month programme brings to them and to us, and we wait to see who the winner will be, who will emerge as the winner, but, whoever it is, we have a good feeling this year the representation of Trinidad and Tobago will be in great hands.”
