Erin becomes the first hurricane of the 2025 season

Reports from NOAA and the Hurricane Hunter aircraft have indicated the presence of hurricane-force winds within the system, resulting in Erin being designated as the first hurricane of the 2025 season.

Tropical Storm Watches are in effect for Anguilla, Barbuda, St. Martin, St. Barthelemy, Saba, St. Eustatius and Sint Maarten.
