Buying U$: Man robbed of $75,000 and $240,000 vehicle

A man who went to Bamboo Settlement No. 2 on Tuesday night to purchase US$10,000 was robbed of $75,000 in cash and his $240,000 pickup truck by two masked, gun-wielding men.

Police said the victim was in his Nissan Frontier at Jaffar Street, Bamboo Settlement No. 2, around 8.10 p.m. awaiting the person from whom he intended to purchase the US currency.

The man told police that two men wearing balaclavas emerged from an unknown vehicle and approached his pickup.
