Barbados scores nine World Travel Awards nominations

Barbados has secured nine nominations in the 2026 World Travel Awards, with the island in the running for honours spanning culture, cruise tourism, sports, romance and events.
Among the nominations are Caribbeanâs Leading Destination, Caribbeanâs Leading Cultural Destination, Caribbeanâs Leading Cruise Destination and Caribbeanâs Leading Sports Tourism Destination.
Barbados is also nominated for Caribbeanâs Leading Family Travel Destination, Caribbeanâs Leading Festival & Event Destination, Caribbeanâs Leading Honeymoon Destination and Caribbeanâs Leading Wedding Destination.
