The Department of Correctional Services (DCS) has suspended, effective immediately, the delivery of food items by visitors to inmates at the South Camp Adult Correctional Centre, the agency said in a statement Tuesday.
The suspension will remain in place "until further notice," the DCS said, without specifying a reason for the measure.
“The department appreciates the understanding and cooperation of inmates' families, visitors,” the statement added.
