Higgler gunned down at Central Village shop

A morning stop at a shop in Central Village, St Catherine, turned deadly yesterday when a 58-year-old higgler was ambushed and shot dead by two gunmen.
Dead is Ivan Robert Smith, otherwise called “Shortman”, of Tate Drive, Central Village.
Reports are that about 10:30 a.m. on August 18, Smith was standing at a shop in the community when he was reportedly pounced upon by two men armed with guns.
