The Head of the International Womenās Resource Network, Adriana Sandrine Rattan Isaac, is renewing calls for greater focus on menās emotional intelligence and stronger peer support systems following a reported domestic violence incident.
She says more must be done to help men recognise and manage their emotions before situations escalate into violence.
Her comments come after police said a woman believed to be pregnant was allegedly stabbed about 15 times at an apartment in Mt Lambert.
