A handÂful of healthÂcare workÂers turned up for last night’s canÂdleÂlight vigÂil as part of their onÂgoÂing wage disÂpute with the North CenÂtral ReÂgionÂal Health AuÂthorÂiÂty and the MinÂistry of Health.
In a soÂcial meÂdia post yesÂterÂday, healthÂcare workÂers were asked to show solÂiÂdarÂiÂty for one hour beÂtween 7 pm and 8 pm at all reÂgionÂal health auÂthorÂiÂty faÂcilÂiÂties.
A flyÂer read: “ALL RHA’S CANÂDLE LIGHT VIGÂIL As we await a reÂsponse from the powÂers that be. Let’s come out on ThursÂday 16th, April at 7pm with our CanÂdles for one (1) hour.”
