Daily-rated workers employed by at least two municipal corporations have received their wages late this month, and one of the corporations is saying it is a recurrent problem.
Chairman of the Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation Josiah Austin, as well as San Juan/Laventille Regional Corporation chairman Alderman Richard Walcott, complained there was growing concern and frustration among staff members regarding the delayed payment of salaries to daily-rated employees.
