MeĀdia AmĀbasĀsador for the PoĀlice SerĀvice, ASP Owie RusĀsell, says the TTPS has reĀceived a new batch of body camĀeras that will be used by ofĀfiĀcers to enĀsure that inĀciĀdents inĀvolvĀing the poĀlice and memĀbers of the pubĀlic can be recordĀed acĀcuĀrateĀly.
ASP RusĀsell beĀlieves this will asĀsist in fosĀterĀing a betĀter reĀlaĀtionĀship beĀtween the pubĀlic and poĀlice.
āThe ComĀmisĀsionĀer has proĀcured adĀdiĀtionĀal body-worn camĀeras that are more apĀproĀpriĀate for the rigours of the Trinidad and ToĀbaĀgo PoĀlice SerĀvice and the rigours of policĀing itĀself,ā ASP RusĀsell reĀvealed. āWe hope to deĀploy 1,000 adĀdiĀtionĀal body-worn camĀeras, to build that trust and conĀfiĀdence.ā
