A 27-year-old construction labourer from Sangre Grande has been charged with the murder of Candice Honore, the 22-year-old Manzanilla woman whose body was found in the Valencia district on July 17.

Michael Moore, also known as “Tall Man” and “Fully Fully”, appeared before Master Rehanna Hosein at the High Court North ‘B’ on Thursday. He was formally charged with the offence and remanded into custody. The Sufficiency Hearing has been set for January 27, 2026.

Honore was reported missing on July 11 to officers at the Manzanilla Police Station. Her body was discovered nearly a week later in Valencia, triggering a homicide investigation led by the Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI), Region Two.
