ST JAMES, Jamaica — A fire is now raging at the Retirement landfill in St James leaving plumes of smoke in the area.

Two different areas can be seen emitting massive amounts of smoke as the blaze continues to cut through sections of the waste disposal site.

It’s uncertain what has led to this incident but it  follows on another incident in earlier July where the Western Parks and Market (WPM) had explained that it came from waste that had been deposited at the facility.
