Pan Trinbago president Beverly Ramsey-Moore has praised the support of corporate T&T, who she says allowed them to support all 300 steelbands across the country for the just concluded 2025 Carnival celebrations through an overall $4 million in sponsorship.
She made the statement while delivering the opening address at ‘Carnival Lagniappe – A Night With The Champs’ at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port-of-Spain, on Saturday night.
Ramsey-Moore said, “As an organsation, at least most people believe that we are receiving subventions from Government. We do not receive subvention from Government. We work [and] receive monies through our events and memberships and so we want you to know that corporate support is very important to our organisation, and as such, we saw a tremendous amount of support from corporate T&T, where we were able to raise over $4 million through corporate support.”
