A beach lime at Maracas Bay with relatives from overseas turned tragic when a Vistabella man is suspected of having drowned and his relative hospitalised on Sunday.

Richard Ramcharan, 61, was pronounced dead at the hospital, while his brother-in-law Ricardo Feliciano, 58, of New York, USA, remains hospitalised.

Ramcharan resided on Arch Street in Vistabella and was a well-known taxi driver along the Marabella to San Fernando route.
