It is too soon to determine whether the installation of a new US military radar system at ANR Robinson Airport will play a significant role in the upcoming Tobago House of Assembly (THA) elections.
Political analyst Dr Shane Mohammed said that without an announced election date, it is premature to assess whether the radar situation will influence the campaign.
“I think it’s too early right now to see whether there’s going to be an impact. First, we need to know when the election will be, and how that election date fits into the calendar of events in the weeks to come. Then we can have another discussion,” Dr Mohammed said.
