MinĀisĀter of PubĀlic UtilĀiĀties BarĀry Padarath has anĀnounced plans to reĀinĀstate culĀturĀal and reĀliĀgious events across state enĀterĀprisĀes.
SpeakĀing on SunĀday durĀing Ganesh UsĀtav celĀeĀbraĀtions at the CouĀva South conĀstituenĀcy auĀdiĀtoĀriĀum, Padarath conĀfirmed that the Trinidad and ToĀbaĀgo ElecĀtricĀiĀty ComĀmisĀsion (TTEC) will reĀsume its DiĀvali celĀeĀbraĀtions in 2025.
āI donāt know why the forĀmer adĀminĀisĀtraĀtion took the iniĀtiaĀtive to stop it, but as part of TTECās corĀpoĀrate soĀcial reĀsponĀsiĀbilĀiĀty, I think in tanĀdem with them havĀing the manĀdate to be the elecĀtricĀiĀty comĀpaĀny of the counĀtry it would be very fitĀting to have the reĀturn of the DiĀvali celĀeĀbraĀtions at TTEC,ā he said.
