Housing Minister and Caroni Central Member of Parliament David Lee has maintained his innocence following his re-arrest on charges of conspiracy to defraud and misbehaviour in public office.

Lee confirmed yesterday that his resignation has not been considered, nor has it been requested by UNC political leader and Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar.

Following his re-arrest, Lee complained of feeling unwell and was hospitalised for medical observation.
