Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in Marabella on Monday morning, during which an innocent female driver’s vehicle was struck by gunfire.
Around 7.56 a.m, the victim, 33-year-old Kreston Phillips, was walking along Industry Lane and onto Manohar Street, when a gold-colored motor vehicle drove past and stopped nearby. Several gunshots were fired from the vehicle.
At the same time, a woman was driving her Kia Niro south along Industry Lane, near Manohar Street, when her vehicle was hit by bullets. She drove to the Marabella Police Station and reported the incident. Crime scene investigators recovered three projectiles from her car.
