The Ministry of Culture and Community Development has expressed concern over an incident involving smoke bombs being set off at the Southern Academy for Performing Arts (SAPA) on Saturday.
A release from the Ministry yesterday confirmed that the bombs were set off on stage by a contestant of the Prime Minister's Best Village Trophy Competition's La Reine Rive Self-Expression and Talent Finals.
The Ministry noted the incident with urgency and stated that Red Cross and Ministry personnel on-site had immediately activated the requisite response to maintain the safety of all present.
