King Charles III will make a two-day State Visit to Guyana from October 29 to 30, 2026, as part of an Autumn Tour that will also take him to The Bahamas and Antigua and Barbuda, where he will attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).
The Guyana visit is being made at the invitation of President Irfaan Ali and at the request of the United Kingdom (UK) Government. It will mark 60 years of diplomatic relations between Guyana and the UK according to the Royal Communications announcement.
The King is expected to meet President Ali at State House before attending a State Reception involving representatives of Guyana’s communities. The programme will also highlight the longstanding relationship between the two countries and their economic ties.
