(Kaieteur News) – The undefeated Guyana Amazon Warriors extended their flawless win streak this season while keeping their 2-0 record at home safe, after crushing the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots by 7 wickets yesterday evening to send the at the National Stadium into a frenzy as they prepare for their next assignment.
Choosing to bat first, the Patriots struggled massively against a relentless, world-class Warriors bowling unit.
Despite the collapse around him, left-hander batsman Alick Athanaze who played a superb yet testing knock, anchored his team with a classy 52 off 39 (2Ă—4 4Ă—6), which helped the Patriots reach 128 all out in 19.2 overs.
