ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — Spanish Town Hospital recently celebrated five years of excellence in urological care, marking a significant milestone since the establishment of its urology service in May 2021.
As part of the fifth anniversary celebrations, the department received new prostate biopsy equipment, including an advanced ultrasound machine. This investment will improve early detection and diagnosis of prostate cancer, allowing patients to access timely treatment and care.
Senior Medical Officer of Spanish Town Hospital, Dr Jacqueline Wright James, said the milestone reflects the commitment and dedication of the hospital’s clinical team.
