KINGSTON, Jamaica — Noting that the cost of education continues to place increasing pressure on Jamaican families, Scotia Insurance says it is investing in students’ futures through the Scotia Insurance Headstart Scholarship, providing up to J$150,000 for secondary or tertiary education.
Formerly offered under the Education Wealth Plan Scholarship, the programme has been reintroduced this year as the Scotia Insurance Headstart Scholarship.
The scholarship is open to eligible ScotiaELEVATE and ScotiaMINT policyholders and forms, the company says, part of Scotia Insurance’s ongoing commitment to supporting education while encouraging long-term financial planning.
